How do I use alerts?

The alerts feature of SightMill allows you to automatically route customer feedback around your company by email or directly to another piece of software.
If you are using email to route alerts, then simply create the new alert rule within the Rules and Workflow menu option for a Project. Here's how:
  1. In your dashboard, open your Project's Settings (the  spanner icon to the far right of the Project name)
  2. Open the Rules and Workflow menu item
  3. Setup a new rule by choosing the type of respondent, what action to take, and enter the email address to alert with the feedback.
If you are linking SightMill to another system (eg Slack) then first setup the Slack integration and then create your alert rule using this integration. You can setup a new integration from your the Integrations menu in Project Settings.
