Add a view in browser link to your email survey
To add a link to view the email survey in a web browser, write the text you want to use as a link and position and style it using the editor's tools.
Next you need to add the link - you will need to switch to code view and insert the the code [emailsurveylink] so that SightMill can insert the survey's unique link for the particular recipient when sending out the email. Here's how to do this:
- In your Project's Settings, click on the Email Survey Design menu
- In the email editor write the text you want to use as the view in browser link and position and style it using the tools. For example 'Trouble reading this survey? Click to view in a browser'
- Change to code view by clicking on the </> button to the left of the second row of icons at the top of the editor
- Scroll through to find your view in browser text
- Before the words you want to link, add in <a href=[emailsurveylink]>
- After the words you want to link, add in </a>
- So your sentence might look like this: 'Trouble reading this survey? Click to <a href=[emailsurveylink]>view in a browser</a>'
- Change out of code view by clicking again on the </> button
- Save your email by clicking the Save button
